Richmond Green Bathroom
The surviving example of this 19th century wallpaper was not found on the walls of a chic terraced house in Richmond, but in a container outside during a renovation in 1989, which is not at all consistent with the quality of this wallpaper. The execution of this delicate Tudor rose is typical of many designs made in the late 19th century in the style of William Morris. Little Greene printed it in two authentic color combinations of the Arts and Crafts movement, three classic color combinations and one modern one with metallic tones.
