How old are your products?
All of our items are vintage products! This means they are at least 25 years old. They were needed and have their mark. However, our items are shipped cleaned and usable and will bring great joy to their new owners. The brands and age information have been researched to the best of our knowledge. So you are doing something for the environment and the climate when you buy a used item - for example from us - instead of purchasing new items.
Is your furniture really vintage?
All of the furniture in our shop is old and dates from between 1900 and 1980. We saved many pieces from the press, but we also specifically look for many beautiful individual pieces. We prepare them, redesign them or change their color. So they are ready again for the next decades.
Do the old lamps still work?
Our lamps are also vintage. Since we don't have an electrician on staff, we are selling these as found. They often have old cables and plugs that no longer meet today's guidelines. Although the lamps work, they must be checked and, if necessary, wired by a specialist.
Is the toy suitable for children?
Our vintage toys are beautiful to look at, but do not meet today's legal requirements for colors and safety, etc. Since we can no longer keep track of this in detail, we recommend using the toy only for decorative purposes.
Can I use the sports equipment?
The vintage sports equipment we offer is perfect for sporting decorations and gives a special flair. However, they definitely do not correspond to the current legal requirements for security. Since we can no longer keep track of this in detail, we recommend using these sports equipment such as sledges, skis, ice skates and paddles only for decorative purposes.
Can I still use the tools?
The vintage tools we offer are perfect for rustic decorations and give a special flair. However, they definitely do not correspond to the current legal requirements for security. Is the packaging environmentally friendly and recycled?
In order to protect the environment, we use used cardboard boxes and filling material. We now have a small network of companies in the area that supply us with boxes. Our filling material is practically homemade: We have a machine that turns used cardboard boxes into fluffy filling material. For this purpose, we primarily use broken or soft boxes that are not suitable for shipping. This great filling material can be given another round and used again.
If there is bubble wrap or other plastic filling material, this is also donated and will be recycled by us.
