Thonet chairs from the 60s completely refreshed

We did magic again and completely refreshed these great, simple Thonet chairs from the 60s for a dear customer.

The chairs were made in our workshop completely disassembled, sanded, newly painted black with the color Jack Black from Little Greene, the armrests sanded and oiled.

The upholstery was made by Gabi@gestochenanders completely reupholstered and covered with a new fabric. After so many decades of continuous use, it was very worth it. Now the chairs can start the next decades. The straight-lined look is still super modern and chic today. So it doesn't always have to be a new purchase! The old, high-quality treasures have so much potential, whether restored to their original look or completely transformed. We are open to all creative ideas ;-)

And so you can breathe new life into furniture that currently looks like this, again this Thonet chair.

Feel free to ask us for furniture updates, or take a look at us. We always have various project furniture in stock that has a great shape and quality - here you can work wonders with color and have a stable, good piece of furniture.

You can find information about commissioned furniture upcycling work HERE

Or you can just do it yourself with Little Greene's color and nothing can go wrong. We will be happy to support and advise you.
